KYOONA KIDS COLLECTION
Kyoona is a premium home furnishings brand, that aims to take art off the wall and bring it into your living spaces and believe that we are only as good as the space we live in. For their launch collection, they collaborated with a curated list of designers from India and my contribution was celebrated through two bedding sets designed for the kids group.
THE STORK AND THE BABY
Every child, at some point has always been curious enough to ask their parents:"Where did I come from?" And most often than not, the only cute answer in the the moment has been the Stork and the baby story. Since storytelling is the mostwholesome way of bonding with kids and this particular story is a staple, an illustration inspired by the story itself could be a warm blanket around the child at all times.

MATISSE MEETS
MEMPHIS
Matisse's famous paper cutout style of art always invokes a sense of child-like playfullness which ignites a kind of curiosity to replicate simple, weird shapes without being perfect. As a child trying to draw all over their walls with crayons and pens, a bedding with these patterns could inspire them to create more.
The Memphis art style with its geometric shapes and pop colours would be a good combination with the Matisse-inspired cutout shapes and add a little more vibrancy bringing joy to anybody entering the room.
